Biology Expedition Peru, Ecuador & Galapagos Islands 2005
This exciting three week expedition, in July 2005, was tailor made for our school and was open to all pupils in the 5th and LVIth Years at St. George's College.
The trip included trekking the Amazon Jungle on foot and by canoe, Sight-seeing, white water rafting, a 4-day grueling trek along the famous Inca Trail, and visiting the majestic ruins of Machu Picchu. Exhausted from the trekking the group flew to Quito, Ecuador where a few days were spent at the cloud rain forest reserve of Bellavista.
