John Rickcord

Alumni John Rickcord was killed at the beginning of the Second World War.

You can find John amongst the early archives; he can be found in the The Georgian Public Examination Results in the  Royal Drawing Society section under Division IV & V receiving Honours in both entries in 1934 click here to see the entry

Then again in in 1935 he is found again in the Public Exam results receiving a pass for Oral French and received a Lower Certificate in Matriculation Exemption for Oxford and Cambridge Joint Board. Click here to see this entry

He also played Piano and can be found in The Georgian, where he played a solo in a Middle School Entertainment February 10th Programme in 1934 click here to see the article

He Also played Rugby and can be seen in the school Sports photos here in 1934 2nd XV team ( photo shown on this post)

Finally, he was noted in The Georgian in 1938 as setting sail for South America where he would be stationed. Click here to find the entry

Johns Father was a Percival Scott Rickcord a Commander in the Royal Navy and mother Charlotte Mary Dorothy Rickcord, of Crowthorne, Berkshire.
