In the May 1911 edition of The Georgian, new pictures were published of the ‘New’ Theatre. Today the theatre is called the Amanda Smith Theatre, the AST, named after the mother of a Georgian who sadly died. The bequest enabled the theatre to be refurbished with flexible staging, lighting rigs and a sound and lighting room above the retractable seating. A new workshop area and a bar for events was added. The bar is called the Bradford Arms named by former teacher Dave Bradford to celebrate his long service to the College.
