Georgian Day 2024

On Sunday 23 June 2024, the College welcomed over 250 Georgians for a summer garden party in the College grounds. Old Georgians, Old Maurians, OG Parents, current and past staff and current students and parents enjoyed a beautiful warm day listening to music played by current student musicians, enjoying a buffet lunch and delicious cream tea whilst relaxing on the Orchard Pitch which provided a lovely green space for younger children to enjoy games and activities like face painting. For those who wanted to, there was Mass in the Chapel and later the opportunity to be taken on a tour of the College to remember school days or see newer buildings such as the Henderson Centre and the Activity Centre. Many relaxed by watching the T20 cricket match, College v Old Georgians over at the Cricket Pavilion. This year we hosted the Class of 1982 reunion at the OGA Clubhouse organised by OGs Paul Dolan and Suzie Pritchard-Casey. Some of the year group had flown in from abroad to attend the reunion weekend and many had not seen each other since school. It was a wonderful way to celebrate a joint 60th birthday!
